We’re excited to share the evening with you at our weekly wine pairing and pouring tonight from 5-8 p.m. Arny will be preparing Carfagna’s Italian Sausage Meat Sauce over Colavita Fettuccine, made with 100% semolina from the fields of Molise, Italy. The Italian sausage meat sauce is part of Carfagna’s trio of sauces we carry from the Meat Lover’s series. Big chunks of Italian sausage kick up the flavor of their original recipe marinara. We'll be starting the night with Fenn Valley Blanc de Noir, a crisp, dry sparkling wine. It is totally dry, made from the first pressing of the best Pinot Noir grapes, using the traditional French Methode Champenoise procedure. Each bottle is aged for a minimum of 24 months on the yeast and is hand disgorged. Next up with be Fenn Valley’s Meritage – the name coined by a small group of American wine makers, combining the words “merit” and “heritage”. It is a blend of three varieties which proves to be superior to any of the wines by themselves. We will end with Pasqua Prosecco from Italy. Bright straw yellow in color, enhanced with evident greenish highlights, this wine is fruity and rather intense on the palate with a pleasantly tangy finish. We finally have Michigan’s Farm Country Christmas Cheddar in stock. This marbled sharp cheddar aged for 36 months as opposed to most cheddars aging only 18 months is only available this time of year and only at Acqua in Vino. Delicious! Join us for a relaxing evening of tasting and shopping and check out the displays of our unique Nutcracker collection. Our experienced staff is ready to help you find just the perfect gift for that special person on your list.
