Summer's Last Hurrah!

This weekend we will try to get out and soak up as many rays of sunshine that we can before fall comes next week. At this week’s wine tasting and pairing we will be celebrating the last hurrah of summer! With that in mind, our main course is a tribute to grilling – blueberry brats and orzo muffuletta salad. Our first charcuterie pairing will be with Fernlands Sauvignon Blanc. From New Zealand this wine is grown in one of Marlborough’s best vineyards. It offers exotic aromas of passionfruit and guava. You’ll also find hints of lime and lemon and possibly a touch of gooseberry. With the main course we are pairing Noble Vines Marquis Red. This full-bodied red wine features aromas of dark cherry, baking spice and vanilla. This wine is lush and juicy with smooth tannins and a lingering finish with flavors of blackberry, raspberry, mocha and vanilla. We will finish with Lafayette Creamery Bittersweet Chocolate Ice Cream and Hudsonville Acai, a South American gem that is a must taste.

We hope that whatever you are doing this weekend, you start with us from 5-8 Friday night.
