We have another 1st Friday of the month this week - you have the option to pair bourbons instead of wine at our weekly pairing and pouring. Tonight's option contains three, 1.5 oz pours of bourbon from our top shelves which now contain over 50 different types. There is a slight difference in price if you choose the bourbon option. For the non-bourbon pairing we are pouring Chateau Fontaine wines from a family-owned winery located in the heart of the Leelanau Peninsula. Opened in 2000, Dan and Lucie Matthies started growing grapes in 1987. Starting with Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, Chateau Fontaine now grows 15 varietals and produces some of the most awarded wines in Michigan. The Matthies were the first to grow Syrah grapes in Michigan and the first to grow Cabernet Sauvignon in Leelanau. Arny will be preparing fusilli with Carfagna’s Original Sauce and meatballs. Join us from 5-8 p.m. for this delicious and fun evening!
