Tonight's Pairing & Pouring

Tonight’s wine pairing and pouring features Portillo Malbec, Warner Peach and Honey, and Huber Sparkling Rosé.

Situated on a high plateau in the Uco Valley of Argentina’s Mendoza region, the Portillo (meaning “path” or “gateway”) winery and vineyards are dedicated to making superb quality wines for everyday enjoyment. Portillo Malbec 2011 was the FIRST Malbec in Argentina to achieve a Zero Carbon Footprint certification from The Carbon Trust, a world-leading organization. This Malbec has a deep ruby red color with an aroma rich with fruit reminiscent of plums and blackberries. The taste has fresh flavors of redcurrant and black cherry supported by sweet, round tannins ending in a long finish with notes of cinnamon and cloves.

Nestled along the Lake Michigan shore appellation and founded in 1928, Warner Vineyards is one of Michigan’s oldest wineries. Their Peach and Honey wine is a superb blend of peaches, honey, apricots, cinnamon and sweet white wine.

Huber Sparkling Rosé from Austria. It’s light salmon in color with reddish gold play of light, delicate and fresh hints of cherries and forest berries with a sophisticated note of citrus.

Join us tonight from 5-8 p.m.
