Tonight's Dolce Dinner

We will be featuring Lafayette Creamery tonight at our weekly wine pairing and pouring, our fourth “Dolce Dinner”. Charles Ybema, the founder of Lafayette Creamery, will be in store to talk about his delicious ice cream and dish up the flavors picked especially for the evening. We will be pairing the ice cream with Fenn Valley Lakeshore Raspberry Wine, 1000 Stories Zinfandel Wine, and St. Ambrose Rhythm & Blues Draft Mead.

Madagascar Vanilla - The vanilla they use certainly requires additional effort to produce and has distinguishing characteristics. Madagascar farmers leave the vanilla pods to mature on the vines for a few weeks after “traditional” harvest to enhance the flavor and aftertaste.

Salty Pecan Cookie – Cookie dough chunks containing little chocolate flecks are combined with crunchy roasted pecan pieces and a pinch of salt to create one of Lafayette’s favorite flavors. We recommend pairing it with their Bourbon Caramel Glaze.

Dirty Cookies & Cream – Reformulated in 2022 to be the best cookies & cream ice cream on the market. Lafayette Creamery 's Dirty Cookies & Cream has enhanced its "cookiness" to create a flavor with startling characteristics.

Also, every 1st Friday of the month you have the option to pair bourbons instead of wine. Tonight's option contains three, 1.5 oz pours of bourbon from our top shelves which now contain over 25 different types. There is a slight difference in price if you choose the bourbon option.

Who says you can't drink bourbon or wine with your ice cream!! Come break the rules with us tonight from 5 - 8 p.m. We look forward to seeing you.
