This Week's Tasting & Pairing

becky52095

Friday night we will be featuring Garden Pantry Rustic Italian Tortellini Soup from Grand Shire Farm, located between Sand Lake and Cedar Springs, Michigan. This Italian soup is quick to fix on a busy night and full of healthy, tasty ingredients. Connie Hanson has created several flavors of these soups we carry just in time for the cold weather. Many mixes can be prepared by just adding water; others you can add your own cooked meat.

Our wines for the evening include White Cranberry from Hudsonville Winery, Sauvignon Blanc from Fenn Valley, and Tropical Strawberry Moscato from Italy. Hudsonville White Cranberry is a little tart and a little sweet, the perfect combination of flavor. Sauvignon Blanc from Fenn Valley is a crisp, dry white wine from Michigan. It demonstrates a pronounced grapefruit quality reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc grown in the Marlborough region of New Zealand. Tropical Strawberry Moscato combines premium Moscato from Italy’s famed Asti region with 100% real fruit to make a wine that bursts with all-natural flavor. The Moscato grapes that go into Tropical Moscato are grown in vineyards that are situated 200-300 feet above sea level. From there, the wine is blended or infused with real fruit, in this case strawberries, and bottled.

Come in from the cold and join us tonight from 5-8 p.m.
