Join us tonight for our Friday night Wine Pairing and Pouring from 5-8 p.m. Arny will be preparing Carfagna’s Pomodoro Sauce with tomato filets, garlic and basil. It’s the same sauce you will experience in Italy today. He will be adding Force of Nature ground venison to meat the sauce. We carry Force Of Nature ground venison, elk, bison and wild boar in our freezer - perfect for grilling! Based in Austin, Texas, this company spent the last 7 years studying regenerative agriculture and visiting ranches all over the world before deciding to create Force of Nature. We're proud to offer these meats to you!
Our wines tonight include Banfi Chianti Classico, Piattelli Rosé of Malbec, and Santero Moscato and Coconut.
Castello Banfi was founded in Tuscany in 1978 by Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani. It had its origins in their father's business, Banfi Vintners, which was founded in 1919 and was America's leading Italian wine importer at the time. Today, Castello Banfi has vineyards throughout the northwest coast of Italy. Their Chianti opens on the nose showing notes of strawberries, red plums and lemon rind blended with hints of white stone dust. It is medium bodied with rounded tannins and a classic finale, a little austere, distended and harmonic.
New to the store this week, the Piattelli Reserve Rosé combines the most intriguing characteristics of the Malbec and Torrontés grapes. Cultivated with arid-clean air, crystal-clear water, and nutrient-rich soil, Piattelli’s Malbec grapes are grown on 70-year-old vines located in the prestigious Luján de Cuyo area of Argentina.
The Santero Moscato and Coconut wine comes from Italy. It is a sparkling sweet white wine with coconut flavor, produced from the best white Moscato grape variety. With an intense and delicate bouquet and velvety flavor, it is deliciously refreshing.
Come enjoy our redesigned outdoor seating area. We look forward to serving you!
