It's Bourbon Night

Happy May 1^st! It’s also the 1^st Friday of the month where you have the option to pair bourbons instead of wine at our weekly wine pairing and pouring. May Day and bourbon frequently intersect, largely because the first weekend of May marks the Kentucky Derby, the most famous horse race in the world. Bourbon is the official and traditional spirit of the event, most notably featured in the Mint Julep, a refreshing springtime cocktail made with bourbon, muddled fresh mint, sugar, and crushed ice. If you want to celebrate the arrival of May with a drink, bourbon makes an excellent base for warm-weather, picnic-ready cocktails. You must stop in and see all the changes we are making to our outside Piazza Di Vino.
