Is It Spring Yet??


For this week’s wine pairing and pouring, Arny will be using Carfagna’s Sicilian Sauce, made with baby portabella mushrooms and roasted peppers. He will be adding a pound of cooked ground venison from Force of Nature in Austin, Texas. Our wines include: 1000 Stories Prospectors' Proof Bourbon Barrel-aged Cabernet Sauvignon which is a rich, full-flavored Cabernet Sauvignon that expresses a pioneering spirit along with signature bourbon barrel notes of charred vanilla and dried herbs; Astoria Sparkling Moscato with very fine and persistent bubbles, delicately sweet with a basis of fresh fruit flavors of peach, melon and pear and a beautiful bottle; and DMZ Chardonnay, a South African wine that shows stone fruit aromas of nectarine and peach with subtle citrus hints and creamy oak with a palate of bright acidity and limey freshness.
