As we look back on 2021, first and foremost, we want to thank you! It was undoubtedly a challenging year for everyone, and we don’t take your patronage and friendships lightly. It has been a pleasure spending time with our loyal customers and a wonderful experience welcoming so many new friends and faces. We raise a glass and thank you all as we look forward to 2022.
We are returning to our weekly wine pairing and pouring this week from 5-8 p.m. Friday. Arny will be preparing Carfagna's Sicilian Pasta Sauce with baby portabella mushrooms and roasted peppers. Our first pour is Gnarly Head 1924 Sauvignon Blanc from California. This Sauvignon Blanc boasts aromas of bright citrus and stone fruit that complement flavors of green apple and melon. This juicy and crisp wine has exceptional balance with a clean finish. Our second pour is Cono Sur Bicicleta Pinot Noir from Chile. Dressed in fresh purple red color, this is a voluptuous Pinot Noir with rich fruit notes of cherry, raspberry, plum, and strawberry – a red fruit party – enhanced by subtle smoked hints. This is a wine of personality and elegance. It’s young and refreshing and can also be enjoyed chilled! Our third pour is Castello del Poggio Moscato. Perfectly ripe grapes highlight the bright fruit expression of this delightful Moscato, beloved for its notes of fresh orange blossom flower, white peach and honey that lead to a crisp, lingering finish.
We look forward to serving you again in this new year!
