And Acqua In Vino carries ALL their varieties. He’ll be preparing their Original Gourmet Pasta Sauce with meatballs.
The wines we’ll be tasting tonight are new to the store in the last month. The fruit for the F Series Old Vine Riesling was all hand harvested then immediately whole bunch-pressed to tank, settled for 6 hours and then fermented. It is youthful and aromatic with a bouquet of fresh spring flowers and apricots, apples, and fruit spice. True Nature Sauvignon Blanc is sustainably grown from older vines with expressive aromatics of lemon, nectarine, orange citrus and exotic tropical fruit. The wine has flavors of ripe lemon, stone fruit and sweet herbs. Our third wine, Mythic Mountain Malbec, is a new house pour. It has a perfumed nose of violets, currants, blueberries, licorice, and eucalyptus. It’s medium-to-full bodied with silky, seamless tannins and a creamy texture.
