This week’s wine pairing and pouring event will feature wines from Wente Vineyards. Situated in the picturesque Livermore Valley, merely 30 miles from San Francisco Bay, this family-owned and women-led winery is celebrated for its Certified Sustainable wines, which reflect their rich heritage and commitment to quality. Established in 1883, it is recognized as America’s oldest, continuously operated, family-owned winery. For the main course, Arny will be preparing Tex-Mex pasta. This dish combines the best of both worlds with a blend of ground venison (to honor opening day tomorrow) and vegetables, all mixed in a zesty sauce flavored with spices. This one-pot meal is ideal for weeknight dinners. It is hearty, flavorful, and easily customizable with your preferred ingredients, making it a family favorite that is sure to satisfy even the most selective eaters.
