Tonight Arny will be preparing a classic Italian-American recipe that you can perfect at home with just a few easy steps! Penne Ala Vodka has perfectly hearty and tender penne pasta and Italian sausage tossed with a creamy and vibrant tomato-based and vodka-infused sauce that’s seasoned with fresh herbs and parmesan. Talk about delicious! There is no simmering for hours – you can have this dish ready in about 30 minutes.
We will be pairing Chateau Fontaine Riesling, a wonderfully complex wine with peach and apricot notes, and a finish of minerality, well balanced with sweetness and acidity; Chateau Fontaine Pinot Noir, their Double Gold winning wine with silky texture, notes of spice on the nose, and redberry flavor on the palate; and Fenn Valley Sparkling Riesling, a semi-dry sparkler made from ripe Riesling grapes with a ripe apple fruit character and a hint of orange-muscat in the finish.
