Get ready for some serious comfort food. Friday night from 5-8 p.m. at our weekly wine pairing and pouring Arny will be preparing Colavita pasta with Carfagna's Meat Lovers Little Meatball pasta sauce. The Carfagna family takes their yummy little “wedding soup” meatballs and packs them into this can’t miss sauce. Slow cooked in their original recipe, the Little Meatball sauce is as delicious as it is unique!
Our wines start with 13 Celsius Sauvignon Blanc. Crafted from exceptional grapes grown in the world-renowned region of Marlborough, New Zealand, this elegant wine has vibrant aromatic of citrus, lychee, and sweet herbs. The crisp edge of minerality teases the refined acidity with a refreshing finish that defines iconic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Our second pour is Nicolas Merlot. A dark ruby color, this wine imported from France has the nose of red and black fruits such as cherries and black currants. On the palate, the tannins are smooth with a jammy texture. We will finish with Gratien & Meyer Cremant de Loire Brut. This is a light, elegant and well-balanced wine with fine bubbles. The winery takes great care to select grapes which will produce the most elegant wines. The grape blend is Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir.
