Christmas Celebrations This Weekend

What a fun weekend in Wayland! Tonight we have a delicious wine and bourbon pairing and pouring planned for you from 5-8 p.m. as downtown Wayland celebrates Art Hop. During Art Hop the downtown is transformed into a celebration with many Christmas festivities. The streets are closed so guests may walk safely from the different venues. Artists will appear in various downtown businesses showcasing and selling their art. In addition to art, there will be many family-friendly activities including tractor wagon rides, warming fires, ice sculpture carving, a live nativity, kid’s activities, hot cocoa & cookies, strolling carolers, musicians, an annual Christmas tree lighting, and much more.

Our pairing and pouring tonight will feature the first-of-the-month bourbon option as well as our own Mulled Wine, made with spices and wine available in store. We’ve put together a Dip Tray pairing featuring Pam’s Pantry dips – Onion & Horseradish with rye bread, Bacon & Tomato with Astori Brushettini, Italian Cheese Dip with vegetables, Outrageous Olive with Paul & Pippa Crackers, and Britts Blueberry Buckle with apple slices.

Tomorrow, Saturday, December 3rd, is the Wayland Christmas Parade hosted by the Wayland Area Chamber of Commerce. Starting at 10 a.m. Acqua In Vino will be offering Biggby coffee with bourbon cream for the adults and Grinch Hershey’s kisses for the kids. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Wayland VFW Post 7581, proceed North on Main, then go West on Superior, and conclude at the Wayland Fire Department.

We have many solutions to your Christmas list including customized gift baskets, gift cards, new store products and much more. Hope to see you this weekend!
