Bikini Panini

As summer approaches, it is common to hear individuals express their intention to achieve their "bikini body" through exercise, dieting, and similar efforts. At Acqua In Vino, however, we embrace a distinctly different interpretation of a bikini body. Our philosophy is simple: we aim to indulge in as many bikini sandwiches as possible before the summer concludes. If you are familiar with Spanish culture or have spent time in Spain, you will understand our perspective. The seemingly straightforward sandwich, referred to as a "bikini," enjoys widespread popularity throughout Barcelona and Catalonia—and for good reason. Fortunately, you need not travel to enjoy your own bikini summer. This evening, during our weekly wine pairing and pouring event, Arny will be preparing AIV’s refined take on the bikini panini. Featuring buttered bread and a modest filling of corned beef, Swiss cheese, and The Brinery Dill Sauerkraut, we will present our Reuben bikini panini, a delightful blend of two iconic toasted sandwiches. Complemented by Gnarly Head Old Vine Zinfandel, a fruit-forward red wine from California known for its jammy blackberry, dark plum, and spice notes, you will savor the finest pairing in town from 5-8 p.m. tonight!
