This Week's Pairing & Pouring

We hope you’ve had a fabulous week! What better way to “wine” down then joining us tonight from 5-8 at our weekly wine tasting! Arny will be serving up Carfagna’s Homemade Vodka Sauce with Italian sausage. The vodka releases flavors in the tomato that are normally inaccessible resulting in this tomatoey sauce. It is creamy, cheesy, and very rich, made with fresh real cream.

Our wines tonight feature a couple store staples and a brand new wine this week. Noble Vines 337 is barrel aged in French and American Oak, with balanced tannins and acidity, this wine is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas and flavors of black fruit with a hint of black pepper spice. Murphy Goode Chardonnay is wonderfully complex with apple and pear flavors mingling with citrus and tropical fruits. It has subtle oak spice that complements the fresh fruit character. This is a user-friendly Chardonnay that is at home at the dinner table or lounging with friends. And new to the store, Gerard Bertrand Cote des Roses Rose, with an aroma of summer fruits, cassis and red currant. There are floral notes of rose along with hints of grapefruit. On the palate, the impression is fresh and full, with great aromatic persistence and balance. The finish is fresh, offering notes of candy.

We look forward to serving you!
