Let’s celebrate the arrival of Spring with our weekly wine tasting and pairing tonight from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. There are so many exciting things to do in March. St. Patrick’s Day has passed but all things Spring Equinox is happening right now and around the corner. The First Day of Spring will officially be here tomorrow, also known as the Spring Equinox or the Vernal Equinox. On the Spring Equinox, it is historically said to be due to Earth’s position to the Sun causing the Sun to directly pass over the Earth’s equator. It’s the beginning of new life so feel free to start and do new things while basking in nature, people, and life.
And if you haven’t attended one of our tastings yet this year, tonight is the night! Arny will be making traditional fettucine alfredo with shrimp and we’ll be pairing Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon Barrel Aged Chardonnay, Insurrection Red Blend wine from Australia, and Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. All three wines are 15% off tonight only. The first customer to come into the store Friday night saying nice and loud for the world to hear, "We always have a Hoppy good time at Acqua in Vino!" will win a special Easter prize. To accommodate our customers who are observing Lent, our pairings will not contain meat. There will be meat options available for those who are not participating in the Lenten season.
